Taking Home Energy Advice Into The Community

News

Could your community group help local residents reduce their bills and stay warm? Jane Tyson, the Commission's new HEAT Plus Engagement Officer, is out and about across Surrey delivering practical, friendly home energy advice talks in community spaces.

Jane's sessions are free and focused on what matters most right now:

• reducing bills
• improving comfort
• staying warm
• avoiding scams

Clear advice and straightforward steps people can take straight away. Plus a few energy-saving freebies. Jane is particularly keen to connect with community groups, residents' associations, sheltered or retirement housing schemes, faith groups, community cafés and local charities. If your group or venue would like to host a talk or drop-in session, or if you can introduce Jane to an organisation that would benefit, please get in touch with the Surrey Climate Commission.
