The Surrey Climate Commission, the Weybridge Society, Guildford Bike Users Group and other founders are now looking for more community groups to join Healthy Travel Surrey.
The aim is to help councillors, MPs, community organisations and residents take confident, well-supported decisions by providing data, narrative and a focus on shared public interest goals.
Initial priorities include cleaner air, more reliable public transport and safer more attractive streets.
