A new Resilience Programme has been launched by Surrey County Council. It supports the building of resilience to climate impacts through community projects and nature-based solutions. Join the Surrey Climate Commission and the Council's Greener Futures Team for this webinar on 8 July to find out more.
Grants will be awarded under the following themes:
Community Nature Recovery Grants – Launched 1 June
Resilient Schools Grant – Launches 8 June
Resilient Communities Grant – Launches 15 July
The Resilience Programme follows on from the success of last year’s Place Delivery Programme. In 2025, 87 delivery partners were funded across 75 resilience projects, supporting over 30,000 beneficiaries and creating over 14,000 hours of future volunteering opportunities. Groups that were funded previously and completed impact reporting by the deadline are welcome to apply for further funding. You can find the application form and guidance for the Nature Recovery Grant on this Together for Surrey page. Go to TfS ‘News’ to see information on the other grants when they come live, as well as the Impact Report for last year’s programme, and a great video from Guildford Grove’s Resilient Schools project.
